7th Experience in biomedical research: young minds at work

Desenzano del Garda (BS) • Park Hotel • 25-26 October, 2019

We are pleased to announce the 7th annual meeting “Experience in Biomedical Research: Young Minds at Work”, which will take place in Desenzano del Garda (BS, Italy) from October 25 to October 26, 2019. This conference brings together young investigators and students from all biomedical disciplines involved in innovative research (i.e. PhD students, postgraduates, post-docs, students from specialist residency). This annual event represents a great chance for young scientists to promote their research and share their own work with their peers. While gaining precious insight regarding scientific process, the attendant will also be able to bring up to date information on the latest developments in different fields of research. This atmosphere is aimed to encourage a collaborative environment between European PhD students, researchers, postdocs, and installation grantees.

We encourage all participants to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.

This meeting also offers an exciting selection of two speakers, who are leaders in their fields of research, for the plenary lectures.

Registration is now open and free; however, the conference will host a maximum of 100 participants. The registration will include access to the presentations, coffee breaks and lunch on October 26, 2019. The deadline for registration and abstract submission is September 30th, 2019. Please mark your calendar! English is the official language of the meeting. Participants interested in presenting their work are invited to submit an English Abstract (300 words maximum) with the following format: Title, Affiliation, Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.

The abstract has to be submitted via e-mail to the secretariat office (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). A committee will review the submitted abstracts which will be selected for hot topic talks. Each presentation will be limited to 15 minutes, with 3 minutes for questions. All the presentations will be evaluated and the top three presentations will be awarded. We look forward to receiving abstract submissions from young research scientists in your programs and departments.

Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone who might be interested in attending the meeting.

Your participation in this conference is important to us, and we hope to meet you in Desenzano del Garda!
